Campanula Addenda® ‘Blue Planet'®.....

Introduction:

‘Blue Planet'® is a new breeding (*) and belongs to the portenslagiana group. This variety, with a finely serrated dark green leaf, develops an attractive spherical plant form. The flower develops centrally from the heart of the plant, as a result of which the plant is completely covered with a carpet of dark bluish-purple florets. ‘Blue Planet'® has been selected for its very rich and long lasting flower development. The combination of the fresh, dark green leaf and the intense dark flower colour provides an attractive contrast and a magnificent presentation in the tray and in the shop.

The combination of all these special properties provides a unique enrichment of the everyday Campanula range.

Commercial information:

After the last test phase and market introduction last spring, ‘Blue Planet'® is freely available in 2011.
